ta daima!!!

Perth is indeed the "City of Lights"!! Whilst arriving home from Brisbane last nite i was hit again by how beautiful perth is at nite. I miss flying at nite.It's been mixed feelings for me today. I'm glad conference is over and yet I wished it had not end. It was lovely being close to so many ppl and joking around. I had an awesome time this yr. The UWA gang were a "core function" in creating such a fun atmosphere!!! Jo; as always my partner in crime was there wif me bitchin' and gossipin' thru out it all, Shirley; a new found kindred spirit that i am reluctant to lose contact wif was a blast to hang out wif!! Always happie-go-lucky & cheerful, Tash; whatta babe!boy, can this woman dance, articulate n witty this woman was an awesome person to chat wif and last but no definately not least, Marc; my dear, always there for me, giving me his shoulder when i needed a rest, offering his arm when i needed support, one of the nicest guys and a person who's always true to himself, was a great support during the conference. I had a brilliant time laughing and doing silly things wif that bunch!!

OKies i don't reckon i can remember everything but i'll just tell u guys the moments i remember...

Moment Ichiban

MOvieworld. OMG. Movieworld is the place to be man!! I loved the parade..i so love the parade, the best part was seeing Marilyn Monroe and taking a pic wif her,she was so beautiful and elegant...it was indeed a dreamworld where movies came to life and the beauty of ur childhood comes rushing back to u, there were magical shops everywhere and the buildings were all pretty and sweet, the characters that came to life were so rea(Austin Powers; groovy baby and..ahem..Batman!). Who cares if u're 20 or 40, when u get to movieworld u're effectively a 6 yr kid again!!

The Parade reallie kept me happie for the next few days, it was brilliant seeing all the characters that u recognised. Another awesome bit was having a churros (a long star shape-like doughnut only w/out the a hole and coated wif cinnamon sugar...)wif the gang...i felt as if i was being transported back to Disneyland again when I was 11 and didn't wanna get out of Minnie's house cos she had this oven dat cld reallie bake!!!I guess the best part was that everyone had a piece of this yummy treat and i cld create another special moment wif it, i remember the sun, my dear ;p, the Harry Potter shop, little kids, Shirley's smile, Jo's hair in the sun, Tash's energetic bounce, the smell of the cinnamon sugar..i tell ya i was truly contented.

OKies okies, i shall stop rambling n get on wif it. Hmm, but seriously that was the best part of Gold Coast... apart from getting 2 LeSportsac bags and drooling over Christian Dior passport holders and COach's wallet and key rings at Galleria of course...hehe.

I hafta say tho, the bunks at Surfer's Paradise Backpackers Resort was one of the worst i've slept in...the bed was made of such amazing cushioning dat once u lay on it, it stays in that shape...it's pretty much permanent after that.

Brissie

Brissie was pretty awesome, Palace Backpackers was brilliant, met the hottest Norwegian guy, dunno his name but his initials were DH (Darren Hayes???) He slept in the same room as me, jacky and joey. He was so hot i just couldn't stop looking at him the first time i saw him...lucky i din start drooling or else...

Managed to find Kernels popcorn for chaboh..it was by luck reallie, me, joey and jacky were walking around for hours until we started getting tired of looking for it and Joey kept saying maybe we can find it at Hoyts or Village Cinemas and I was like no u can't!!It's a specialised popcorn shop or chocolatier!!and we were arguing like kraziee, then i said something to make jacky mad (can't remember wat i said) and instead of going straight jacky made a sharp left turn into Starbucks (mmm..had my Rhumba in GC!!)and i said 'wat? do u think u're gonna find kernels popcorn in Starbucks!!' and lo behold, kernel's was right next to starbucks!!! It was as if it was fate...pretty scary i tell ya.

OKies dats it from me at the mo...i dun want u guys to fall asleep whilst reading moi blog, dat would be insulting!!! hence i shall be tactful and allow ur tired eyes to rest...till the next posT!!! a big shout out to all my blog readers...so glad to see u today chaboh!!!u look awesome and i'm glad u're taking a break..missed ya so much!! oyasumi!
