Brite blu skies

On a random note, who wld hv thot dat “Puff the Magic Dragon” was about puffing crack! Oh man…so puff is not a dragon and the dude who sings it…was actually puffing the magic dragon, hmm, must check out who the dude is..  

Oh man, should not have done dat…just realized pops had “Songs fr the Mardi Gras” by feargal sharhef (hey dun ask me) in his collection, am so tempted to hide “The Marching Music” and “Scottish bagpipes” …brrr. Neways couldn’t find it…maybe they took it to camping wif them, hmm…hope their not puffing the magic dragon there!!  neways found best of the musicals vol. 1, hehe am putting it on.  

all these songs are depressing; ‘all I ask of u’ (phantom of the opera), ‘I still believe’ (miss Saigon)…the only ones worth listening to are ‘singin in the rain’ and ‘somewhere dat’s green’ (little shop of horrors)…ah well, singin in the rain is on repeat.  

There’s this horrible honeysucker that keeps disturbin the beautiful canaries…ok, if u think the honeysucker is a beautiful bird…u’ve never been wronger! Seriously, this terrible honeysucker keeps poking it’s beak into the cage, tryin to peck the canaries.  Am trying to device a way to keep the terrorist of a bird away. Hmm… come to think of it, the lil innocent canaries are Iraqis and the honeysucker is bush…and the pigeons dat are always looking for scraps at the bottom of the bird cage and sometimes joins the honeysucker in it’s terrorist attack can alternate between blair and howard.  

I jus realized dat my Indian neighbour has moved liao!!! No more bhangra on Friday nites…no more smells of curry and pappadums…the new bunch dats moved in are aussies…hmm, lemme think so far in the cycle of the corner lot, it’s been Indians…so it’d be 10 yrs! Since the last aussie. Wow. Hmm…wonder who’s next, I dun mean it in a bad way, but it’s just dat ppl can never settle happily in dat house. Oh well.  

Pops advertised his motorcycle trailer for sale the other day and have had a couple of calls, this dude, actually came down from mundaring (hehe, I think blair is chasing howard…mating season la…:p) which is close to midlands but farther up, to see the trailer. My sis, Elaine lives up at mundaring and boy is it an awesome place! They’ve got lime trees, miniature horses, chickens wif feathers on their legs and a huge place to run about. Their house is like this little cosy farm cottage and they eat homemade jam!!! Hehe, fairy tale like yeah?  

Neways, this dude’s got a Harley he wants to bring down to Albany so needed a trailer. He brought his son down wif him u noe wat? I kinda like these country boys, elaine’s son, benn (he’s about 12 I think) is a tru blu country boy, always riding tractors and wat not. So cute and this dude’s son was talking wif his dad about how maybe the 18 inch wheels won’t be able to hold up the weight of the harley but if he wants the harley could still be placed diagonally and it’d fit perfect. Haha, kawaii desu ne!! and then the boy, I think in an attempt to impress, kept going on about how big the trailer was. Then the dad was like ‘but mate, a harley is 19 foot long and this trailer is only 20, so you’ve only got a foot of extra space!’ hehe, poor kid looked at me wif an embarrassed look.

  But the bloke was really sweet, felt bad that the trailer’s specs wasn’t good for him, learnt a lot about the parts tho…god, when he called, he was like so have u got a single or double ramp up the back…um, wait ah, me check wat pops wrote down for me first!! Cos even tho was looking directly at the trailer…I had no idea wat he was talking about. Then he asked if there were mudguards. Huh? Nanikore!!! Hehe, then I think he knew I din noe wat he was saying and so started to explain that mudguards were the thingamagics above the wheels. Yes! Got! Got! Got! Mudguards schmudguards!
