Diary of Isobelle (Mary Lide)

Yes yes yes!!! Assignments for this week are done...am still trying to think if there's anything due at 5pm today...hv gotten so used to havin to hand in sumthin at 5pm everyday it's kinda weird if nothing is due...

so this morn, woke up at 8 am after sleeping at 3 am (was reading diary of isobelle!! will talk abt it more later....gosh i luv dat book), so i started doin my chinese assignment entitled "Postcard from Beijing".

thank god for mum or i wouldn't've been able to complete it, so wif 2 brains we came up wif a semi ok script for my video recording. thing is, i din bother to write down all the chinese charatrs cos they were too time consuming, so i'd formulated multiple reasons (been formin them during the few hours of shut eye) for not handing in the report.

so neways, got to uni at 11am, video recodg was at 11.15...din noe where the place was...checked it, then me and chris flew down there (yeah,we were runnin' like idiots), then i forgot how to say forbidden city in chinese...so chris was like, no worries, we'll jus ask a couple of chinese studs on the way....

i'm like wha..

chris: Hi, my fren has a chinese video recording asisgnment now, but she doesn't knoe how to say forbidden city in chinese...

i was like ...omg, damn embarassing!!! wat if they're actually like thai or sumthin!! cos they looked a bit stunned and lost for words and the bloody CCC (curtin commerce club, notorious for their successful events!) boys had their music blaring so loudly (sausage sizzle ma)...for me it was like chaos.

but they were a big help and my recording went reallie well, my lec actuallie wants me to join sum chinese speaking comp...first prize.....

sounds prettie awesome hey? mite actuallie think about it. yep. so dats about it from me at the mo...not much to report back on except dat moi face is getting bloated...puffy eyes can be substituted for two freakin ping pong balls i tell ya.....okie now i gotta write my report!!!!
